The movie, “Crumb”, about the one-of-a kind comic book artist R. Crumb who came to print in the late 60’s (“Keep on truckin’!”) is out on DVD, and I think each of my insane, wacko friends and relatives should own a copy, so that when someone comes up to them and calls them “crazy” or their family “dysfunctional”, they can pull the DVD out of their back pocket –ala “Crocodile Dundee”—and say, “You callin’ me ‘crazy’? You think my family’s ‘dysfunctional’? Take a look at this!!”
Come to think about it, I wonder if that’s why friend Steve gave it to me…
