My Dad was born in 1917 and died in 1969 of a heart attack at age 52. A month or so after he was born his mother passed away and almost exactly a year latere his father died. He was taken care of by his aunts until friends of the family, Mr, and Mrs. Miller adopted him.. Perhaps for that reason our little family unit was so important to him; to always take trips or play as a family. Even though he was limited by his heart condition, he would still get in the lake and throw us kids around, and play catch with me.
