SHOO WOP A DOO WOP

Some of my family gave me my first Ipod for Christmas. Remember , last year I had just bought a pay-as-you-go cell phone... you know, for emergency purposes... That cracked my wall against new technology. Then a DVD player, and then LOOK OUT along came the laptop, and out went the lovely "Selectronic" typewriter. Then Mark made me a website, then I discovered blogging, and poor Evelyn (my laptop) has been hot and sweaty ever since.

And now the luxury of carrying all my music, as well as music by some lesser-knowns, in my pocket. I remember another Christmas, when I was maybe five or six, my folks bought me a record player, along with a case for my 45's. (It was blue and white, to distinguish it from my sister's which was solid red.) Dad took me down to the record store and I bought "DixaBilly" by LaVerne Baker and " Sorry (I Ran All the Way Home)" by The Impalas.

So thanks, Chris and all; I've got a new shiny case for my singles, and I'm not sharing it with my sister. Nah NaaaaaH! I'm listening to the Impalas as I write this.
