Bukowski was a brilliant writer; What I like about these videos is that they don't play the "Look at the drunk asshole reading." Concentrate on the music of his voice, the rhythm of his words, the stark beauty of his images. Don't fall for the smokesceen of drunkeness he put up. He wrote: "The Days Run Away like Wild Horses over the Hills." I also recommend his novel, :"Women." My copy is all marked up, highlighted and underlined.Of course, my favorite title is "Love is a Dog from Hell."
